Today I have the pleasure of showing three historic houses in beautiful Haddonfield to buyers who currently live in Center City, Philadelphia but are making the move across the Delaware River to the Jersey side. Haddonfield is a prime destination for such buyers and there are at least three reasons for this.
The PATCO station
Haddonfield Borough has a PATCO rail station right downtown, making Center City Philadelphia a quick ten minutes away by high-speed rail. This makes Haddonfield Borough perfect for commuters or anyone who wants to live in a small town but with the big city at their fingertips.
Haddonfield Borough and Haddonfield Township have the most highly public schools in South Jersey
Haddon Memorial High School and Haddon Township High School are the two highest-ranking public high schools in Camden County.
Charming, walkable, historic downtown Haddonfield Borough
Finally, Haddonfield Borough itself is an utterly charming two-mile square entirely walkable town filled with amazing specimens of historic architecture, beautifully maintained (Haddonfield was the second city in New Jersey after Cape May to establish a historic preservation district), abundant shopping and dining options, and a fantastic calendar of annual events that bring the community together.
