Last week I settled the quickest short sale in the history of the universe (my universe, at least). Nine days on the market, 96% of asking price, 64 days from contract to closing, or the average time it takes a regular transaction to close.
It all happened so fast my seller had to scramble to find a place to live (there’s hardly anything for rent here in February!) In the end though, she was very relieved it didn’t drag on as it so often does.
The lender was Wells Fargo and the agent with our buyer was David Schiavone, the broker at Coldwell Banker Schiavone & Associates in Bordentown. Very smooth deal!
